What is Holistic Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy puts an emphasis on the present, as opposed to the past. Rather than dwelling on things that have already happened, we turn our attention to what you’re experiencing here and now, which will inevitably carry influences from the past. You can’t change your past, but the difference in the Gestalt approach is that, in this present moment, you have the opportunity to act and have an effect on your experience.
